This crushed me, in a good way. This is why I work every election.
I needed that reminder. The world needed that reminder.

We helped people vote for their first time or 50th+ time (federal, provincial, municipal).
Everyone was polite.
No protesters. No lawyers.
We did everything possible & within the law so everyone who wanted to could vote.
Democracy is precious!
But let’s not fool ourselves, the Cons won 144 seats (from 119 in 2021). They also had substantial gains for popular votes.
This is despite all that was known about PP and his agenda. In other words; it’s scary.
