The most important part of Trump’s January 6 pardons isn’t specifically who is released from prison, but the meaning of the gesture: “Radical militias are free to act with impunity—as long as they’re loyal to Trump,” writes @alibreland.bsky.social. https://theatln.tc/HPRaVHMR

Pardoning J6 convicts is one thing. Pardoning right-wing radicals convicted under his *current* presidency is another one entirely.
He'd also lack the "Americans with short memories" edge next time.
OTOH he's obviously unpredictable.
But, just how long will y’all hold out?
They were very clear that if he got that immunity, he was going to turn those pardons into a goon squad.

‼️Trump releases violent criminals ‼️
‼️Trump pardons violent criminals‼️
GOP has long been the party of pedophiles, and now, criminals of all offenses.
Trump and his birds are flocking together.

MAGA is a cancer.
This is nothing more than his ridiculous attempt to "prove" that he did not do anything wrong on Jan 6
Because in his mind, if they are not guilty, then clearly *he* is not guilty either. And thus nothing bad happened that day.
It's the sort of logic a toddler uses, but...
It's basically to allow for the brown shirts, the SA of Trump.
"As long as they're loyal to Trump"
If Bannon and the other grumpy populist MAGAs think the tech bros have pulled Trump too far from the correct path, could they go on strike?
