I think it also should be mentioned that the person who really got this going was Rick Caruso, the West Coast Trump/developer who Bass kicked the ass of in the election, and who falsely spread conspiracy theories about fire hydrants in the same radio interview.

It's interesting that no one seems to be showing the Caruso built area of the Palisades which I believe is still standing. I heard and am awaiting confirmation, that Caruso had private fire assets that used fire retardant foam on his properties and select homes in the area.

The mayor and DWP both said they filled the tanks with three million gallons of water and it still wasn't enough to feed hydrants designed for fighting one or two house fires at the end of the water line. Seems pretty plausible to me.
