If they are planning on gutting Social Security and Medicare, we should at least be repaid all the money we’ve paid into it and aren’t yet eligible to collect. Hell, I’d even be fine with treating it like 401k funds - tax penalty unless you roll it into a retirement account. Fever dream, I know.
