F451 was required reading for the AP English class in my high school, but I didn't like the AP English teacher, so I only took on level English, and my friend said the teacher made her hate the book, so she gave it to me, and now it's my favorite book ever.

Any parent. It doesn’t matter what political views, religion, etc. The parent should always have the say as to what their child is exposed to. I don’t think that is unreasonable. And that is the problem we have today.
Yeah, they can always opt out reading books, but one parent should not get to say no other child gets to read a book that they don’t want their particular kid to be exposed to. See?
Yes this! Someone posted a whole list of great books that have been banned. I’m going through it and ordering books for my class (out of my own money!).
Ngl tbh fwiw being informed or learning of a book being called banned.. makes it appealling just to at least find it out/figure out what is about and where to find at least a preview of it hehe ngl
