A pair of Northern Flickers (Colaptes auratus cafer) perched near the front range in Littleton, CO this morning. I caught the male in flight, though mid-blink with a busy background, but it's heading towards the sun illuminating its colors. #birds #colorado #northernflicker #coloradobirds
