Thx. To me, it's a both/and situation. As it relates to that fraying fabric, social media as a whole has became an untamable beast (both domestically and abroad). TikTok is just one of those platforms, but from a strictly natsec perspective, adversarial ownership of data on 150M Americans is unwise.

Oh it definitely is. The root of all these various efforts though is typically an idea that x group of people is superior to y group. Different subjects are used to target people and have them believing in that superiority. Mix in hatred and distrust, you've got people molded to do your will.
