I don’t believe not talking about it is the same as ignoring it. I’ve seen a lot of activity on rebuilding relationships with EU nations. There’s a way to go. I’m hopeful.

There’s a lot of territory between where we are and rejoining. I’d say rejoining will take 10 to 20 years. In the meantime I’d support lots of things that make it easier to live, work, trade and enjoy life across the EU.
