My understanding is if something says a product of USA, it probably is. Very little greens grown in Canada in the winter. 🤷‍♀️

Yes! But I was so excited to finally find Good Leaf greens at Sobeys - grown in Quebec. I had mixed greens, including baby arugula (Greenbelt Organic Greens from Linden ON), for my salad today and savoured it. I saw that they also had local baby spinach.

I've also wondered about many of the Loblaws No-Name and PC products that they have put Maple Leafs on the tags.
No where on many of these products does it say where it was made, or packaged, they just list Loblaws' Toronto address.

This week, I learned that Kraft salad dressings are Canadian and most of the PC brand salad dressings are Product if USA. So you really have to look carefully!

Salad/Greens flip back and forth between Product of Canada/USA based on the growing season-most Grocery have been slow to correct the shelf facings. Hopefully they’ll recognize the importance because I’m not buying anything that says Product of USA or Mexico change it to Mexico-sold!

I have seen lots of this or the "Imported for x company" in Canada, if you aren't going to tell me the origin on the package, made in or product of, I'm leaving it on the shelf! Many store brands are really really bad for this!!
