I agree with Steve here, I don't think that was an instruction at all. I can't imagine Howe saying, "right lads, job is done, chill out now"

Lack of confidence, Forest came out aggressively, then we started to panic. We couldn't keep the ball AT ALL, which happens every time we're under pressure

I just think they're the ones on the pitch at the end of the day and needed to react better to what was happening around them. Aye Howe might have said ease up, but we just switched off completely and seemed to shy away from the game. For me it just continues to highlight how thin the squad is.

yeah, I agree, it's on the players - I just don't think Howe will have said "ease up", or anything even remotely like that. I think he's more likely to have said "we need another goal. do NOT let them come back into this"

if he wanted to rest players, he would've just brought subs on
