The difference is US society will be usurped. Most people trust elections; they have been conducted for decades with very few problems in counting votes. Indeed. I agree that our last free and fair general election was Obama's second term in 2012. Russian influence installed the president in 2016, as the US Senate investigation concluded. At the state level our elections are heavily influenced by Republican gerrymandering and voter suppression.
