16 points clear
92 point pace
25 league games unbeaten
Scored 16 more goals than anyone else
The media and pundits are going to try and tell you that it's "a poor quality league" or that #lfc are "lucky". Don't let them

penalties each last season which was only beaten by Chelsea (12). Last season was fine, this season 9 is too many. This is the first time we’ve lead in penalties received since 2013/14 but Liverpool bad.
Pen v Bournemouth was bizarre but still a trip. You can call it bizarre/clumsy/unlucky/naive etc
Defenders aren’t allowed to trip attackers. Penalty.
The first pen today was similar. I felt for Smallbone (played well) but Nunez came from a blindspot and got booted. Juric 🤥 or 😵💫
“Oh, which ones?”
“Well, last two I didn’t see but the opposing manager was cross. Can’t remember any of the others except one where trailing defender kicked attacker’s leg, he fell over, defender didn’t even complain about the award. That one, dodgy as!”
Plenty to talk about
Some people love to criticise everything that isn’t theirs…
• French league is a farmers league
• Only 2 teams in the Spanish league etc
• Salah isn’t as good as Hazard/Saka
They are best of ignored for your own sanity.
Besides, it’s nice being top of the league so I’m going to enjoy it while I can. Good things don’t last forever.
I refer to it as the Virgil final. He marshals the troops and would have ensured we sat back and took the sting from the game. He managed the game.
We simply didn’t need to do any more. Soz neutrals 🤷♂️
Add all the penalties of the top six together and they can’t pass Liverpool. Any chance of a title race breaking out kiboshed by one team getting five own half reds (zero violent conduct) whilst Liverpool get miraculously let off every other week.
None of it matters.
You'll walk the league. Well done. But the obsession that lfcs fan base has with what people think is mind boggling.
Just enjoy it. 👍🏼⚽️👊
( look after our 🏆, we'll be coming for it next season 🤪)
1) signing players who have little or no injury history
2) signing a coach and backroom team who have a proven track record of low incidence of injury
But we still lost jota for 3 months, alisson 2 months and konate 6 weeks
But if you look at the stats it's also true that Arsenal and City haven't been as good as they usually are. Chelsea are still a head case. Forest are up in the mix.🤯
Come on, we don't live in a world of black and white. It's both.
