Can anyone tell me the names of the Chinese authors and their works who were removed from the Hugo ballots?

I would really like to know their names and read their work.

Please don't forget that some of these were eligible because they were translated into English in 2022. Since we give Hugos to the author and translator, that means translators were removed too.

Quite. Despite all the new info that’s come out since then, the set of Business Meeting etc remedies that Abigail Nussbaum proposed a few weeks ago still seems pretty appropriate.

I believe they are routinely filmed, but I can check on that every year. There are not transcripts made, because of the effort, but there should be video.

Considering what we've learned just this last week, DM's Jan. 22 statements on FB have not aged well. DM may not have single-handedly sullied the '23 Hugos, but they couldn't have been corrupted in the same way without him.

I hope his claim that he ran previous Hugos the same way is another lie.

Oh wow. I knew about Rebecca F Kuang and Xiran Jay Zhao because I’m a huge fan of them both and I heard about this through Xiran’s Tik Tok. I didn’t know how widespread it was.
