Man I thought Open Borders was my controversial book but maybe it's time for "Beer Sucks" the graphic novel.

I don't like beer, but I understand why other people do. But IPA just... it isn't people food. I feel guilty using it for slug traps.

I like some beers, but I mostly agree with your opinion on IPAs. I'd say they're like drinking a mouthful of bitter pine needle water, if I could actually taste the pine needles past the bitterness.

As someone who makes beer yeast for a living, how dare you?!

Though I totally agree that IPAs are an affront to mankind. But they always smell so good to me. Stupid hops giving off a pleasant citrus smell to entice me to drinking trash.

People get to like what they like, and not like what they don’t like. Still, the popularity of beer has always bemused me, given the way the stuff tastes. Pavlovian conditioning at work, I guess.

Beer is an acquired taste, and I don't blame anyone who doesn't want to keep drinking it until it stops being disgusting. I went through the hassle, but I can't be bothered to learn to drink coffee when there's perfectly palatable tea available for my caffeine needs.
