The US has seen an increase in youth mortality due to suicide, homicide, and drug overdoses.

American parents might prefer to have European mortality rates for their kids?

It's always amused me how a lot of Americans think that their country and their lifestyles are the envy of the world, while most people in every other advanced society would sooner be on the street than go to live there.
