Wait until next year. This year is limited with folk unable to take the hit for cancelling.
Next year will be the lack of new purchases coming through.
What's the percentage reduction in brits booking holidays to the US? I know people who are still going because the holiday was already booked. I don't know anyone planning to book a trip in the future
given how much the airlines rely on that that very lucrative trans altlantic routes wonder their impact ? in such a business 14% drop is huge especially if a lot of business etc
The USA is unstable, an an irrational place. No amount of money would persuade me to visit until the Fascist regime is just an embarrassing stain on American history.
Yesss well done Brits. Ban yanks ...GOP,Maga tools coming here too. Don't need blithering halfwits in their crappy caps, talking at 100 decibels how great they are. Enough is enough.
Trips to the US are still a big ticket holiday for many & likely booked well in advance, I think the more telling figures will be further down the line? Regardless, I won't be trading sterling for US dollars any time soon! There's a big old world out there and it's very easy to avoid the fascistic!
Vast majority of people still going up till say August would have planned and booked those trips last year so that % not visiting is going to go up a lot month on month
How to measure risk? I wouldn't go as I'm identifiable as a LibDem & my party opposes Trump. A friend booked trip for June before this kicked off. They're British but have 10 year USA visitor visa as can't get ESTA as they once visited Iran as tourist. How to gauge risk of latter (despite visa)?
My friend doesn't express their political views online, but I'm concerned their tourism in Iran may now come under fresh scrutiny, despite having no doubt been interrogated about it when they got their 10 year visitors visa.
Hadn't thought of that. Friend will have to use passport with 10 year US visitor's visa in, don't know if that passport has Iran stamp.
It's so ridiculous; one of their closest friends is American and they visit them once a year (American friend also travels, so they meet elsewhere too).

Who are the people who think it's still safe to visit Trumpland?
It would be interesting to know if there is a point where the US is considering too much of a risk and people would be able to claim.
Are the other 86% going over just to sell their holiday home?
Or is it just Tory MPs & ex-MPs and Reform UK MPs going over to collect their Green Cards?

It's quite common and normal to get 2 passports if you have or need to travel to incompatible countries.
