Well now here we are. Time for an extra special Q&A this morning. Ask me any serious matchup question you have about Vikings/Packers and I’ll answer it as best I can.

Given that Jaire Alexander has taken the rest of the year off with his mysterious injury, does the Packers' D back off of blitzing to double JJ and hope the front 4 can get home on Darnold?
Barnwell has always jerked off the Packers as far back as I can remember. Ted Thompson would treat free agency like it had the plague and Bill would Shawn Michaels.gif them for it
They had a packers charity basketball team back in my HS days (including Jeff Query and Tim Harris)-Tim Harris shattered the backboard at my high school, ending the game early. Packers refused to compensate my high school even though we were poor enough to need the packers charity basketball team.
You used weakness, they are the #1 run defense by EPA. If you are #1 at something, that is the opposite of weakness. That includes those games with a safety playing LB.
Yes if the offense has too many 3 and outs where the ToP becomes lopsided that impacts every difference.
It’s the pass defense where the wearing down has shown up. I would throw on early downs if I was the Packers, I would hope they insist on establishing the run.
There are none. The only real intense pre-game nerves I've experienced this season were vs the Rams and Lions and we lost both. I'm feeling a shit ton of excitement this morning. Maybe they'll come as the game nears...
How about this... containing Jacobs is obviously key for the Vikings to get a win. We contained him last time... is there anything you see about either team that gives you doubt we will be able to this time?
It’s been oscillating back and forth between the Vikes being slightly favored and the Packers being slightly favored, since they’re so evenly matched. So to me that just means there’s a shitload of money being bet on the thing
Do you think every announcer treating Lambeau as a religious experience is a symptom of Stockholm Syndrome since they don’t really have a choice but to be there? I’ve been a couple times and it ain’t all that…
Corollary - Do we give up too fast on QBs that come from crappy organizations, like Darnold and Geno Smith being former Jets, or Baker Mayfield being thought to be washed at Cleveland?
And might Trevor Lawrence or Bryce Young be that type of guy in the future?
I don’t believe the Vikings are good, I know they are. The numbers back it up this time. They have weak spots but this ain’t 2022. I just love watching them play
Do you use MFL? Then yes. I send a beer every year because he needs to do shit like “login on Christmas and manually process waivers” for us because “Wednesday games”
As a Packers fan I want to honestly wish you good luck today. Football is more enjoyable when both our teams are doing good. But for the question, if it’s GB vs KC in Super Bowl, are you rooting for giant asteroid?
The Vikings have actually gotten the most benefit from penalty yardage all season (no lie; @miketanier.bsky.social wrote about it), plus they get the home crowd so if they lose it won’t be John Hussey’s doing
Tbf though, in the first GB this year the refs made so many bad calls the Vikings successfully had to challenge 3x and werent allowed to do a 4th when they flat out blew a 4th down ball spot that gained a first.
Also McKinney laying out of bounds clearly not having secured the ball called an int.
I keep seeing this stat about the vikings getting all the PI yardage. Like of course they get a lot of yards from PI, that's what happens when teams can't defend jefferson and addison.... they commit daily and then get flagged for it.
Sure, that have some good players but not Justin jefferson good. And the vikings haven't gotten so many DPI yards gifted to them that it deserves to be talked about this much. They've gained 311 yards over the entire season.
Also, those next 3 teams have gotten more dpi calls..... the vikings just have more yards due to the fact they throw the ball deep more than anyone else. I swear people just regurgitate things they've had without any understanding behind the facts.
On top of that when you look at the next 3 teams, they are the rams, Bengals, and Seattle. It's almost like when a team has multiple good receivers they get more dpi yards because teams have a harder time covering.
Need your Vikings to win to help the Rams clinch the NFC West today. We need 3 wins out of: yall, Bills (over Jets), Browns (over Dolphins), Ders (over Falcons), and Niners (over Lions). What are my odds on the bareback sportsbook parlay?

I woke expecting vomit inducing nerves.

Also, the two weeks per playoff matchup is dumb. I feel like I’ve been dipped in molasses for a month.
Rhetorical.
The way I see it, if I’m going to be this miserable than I damn well want everyone else to be too.
