Democratic politicians need to grasp that we are done letting the other side frame it as if we all suddenly now inhabit some lawless consequence-free dystopia. Laws exist. They are violating them. The Supreme Court agrees. We need these people hauled up in court so they can tell it to the judge.

Even if you let the top rate expire, the tax cuts for the richest Americans are still larger than the tax cuts for the bottom 60%. The rich still get estate tax cuts, passthrough dedication, corporate cuts, the benefits from other rate cuts, etc. It’s still an enormous tax cut for the rich.

I am once again begging people to realize that the law is words on paper and is not self executing. "That's illegal" is not and has never been synonymous with "that's impossible" or "that can't be done." "That's illegal" means "you might get in trouble for that depending on who you are."
