I get it since DC area is usually snowless. Gets old fast. However ski season is just really starting out West. March is peak snow and sunshine season and you don’t even need to shovel most of the time.
My experience these days is jumping back and forth between existential climate dread when it’s freakishly warm during winter, and then utter disgust when it’s appropriately cold because I actually fucking hate winter.
In the 90s when I lived in the Rochester, NY area, the Wegmans parking lot would plow all the snow in the lot into a mountain on the side of the lot over the course of the winter, which would gradually melt away. Sometimes there was still a little bit of snow left over in May.
