It only has one joke: what if Santa’s workshop was run like a high-tech, quasi-military intelligence organization? But it turns out that joke has surprising legs.
Same here! My favorite part was the last five minutes or so, which explained the logistics in delivering to every house in one night. Had to talk nine-year-old granddaughter into it but, 30 minutes in, she said, “This is actually pretty interesting.” 😲
The parkouring Santa with mini-gifts that expand to life size was unexpectedly delightful to me. Finally a Santa who nails the technical logistics that bothered me as a kid! 🤌🏽
Going into it, I did not expect to learn so much about Icelandic and Germanic Christmas folklore, especially since I visited the Yule Lads’ summer home in Iceland last year. They didn’t mention Gryla—just told us to stay on the trail or the Lads would get us lol

JK Simmons as Santa: also surprising legs.
I just cried my way through my first watch of Spirited. That movie was so good I don't understand why people didn't like it. Highly recommend.
Great music, cute kids.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. 💙❄️🎄
I loved it.
