You know that feeling when you've been hoping to see a specific bird, 5 years into backyard birding, and while I love my regular Downy Woodpeckers, I finally got my first Hairy Woodpecker on video. Here is a male Hairy enjoying some suet before a Blue Jay unintentionally scares him off.
