- If your paste looks OK, clean it off and try again.
- If you paste looks good, it's only OK.

(Slightly more ghetto - I wonder if a regular 3D printer would be up to the job; probably not my ancient thing which struggles with very detailed patterns on the first layer, but a modern one...
Lasers are more cool though 🤔)
A hotplate allows you to nudge or remove a component easily.
I recommend a low profile hotplate because of ergonomics- you can rest your hand on the bench and tweezer a component.
