I think someone can be not match fit without us ending their career. He wasn't great but he was fantastic for us against PSG etc in the Champions League. One bad game after not having a run of games doesn't mean he's finished. Historically his work rate has been fantastic. #nufc
Im just saying players who aren't match fit, aren't going to play at their best. I agree, he struggles in forward positions but tracking back, tackling and breaking up play he is good at and with PSR etc he is still a good asset to have to come on, especially when we are winning to see the game out.
I was gonna write something about u recently admitting u were wrong about Howe but you know, you have your reasons for these posts I guess. 8 in a row not good enough for you?
Is it unrelated? Our manager (who’s won 8 in a row recently) clearly wants him here and knows he can add something to the squad. I believe you wanted Howe sacked? Trust your opinion on Longstaff as much as I do yours on Howe. You don’t have to focus on negatives all the time. Try smiling babe
Very much unrelated. Can be absolutely buzzing with all of the wins on the trot, whilst also pointing out and being annoyed that Sean Longstaff couldnt even put in a good shift against BROMLEY. Its fine to have an opinion.
Don't think Howe sells him. Bit like with Dummett when the argument was how much would it cost to buy someone who has PL experience, who can come straight into the team, who Howe trusts and knows his system. You're probably looking at at least £20m, which we won't get for Longstaff

But on the ball, he offers nothing. Either plays a backwards/sideways short pass, falls over, or gives the ball away
For me he's below Miley in all situations apart from perhaps the 10-man low block trying to secure a result
