Good morning Dale. I was recently made aware that anyone can choose to pay additional voluntary Income Tax. Also one can choose the area they'd like their contribution to go towards. Now I'm not suggesting you and others do this but my question is does the fact undermine your campaign?
I think you're going to have to cite your source for voluntary income tax.
However, the whole point is having a fair tax system - one that applies to all rather than relying on a few to contribute voluntarily.
Yes I get that. I had argued with numerous others that one cannot just pay extra as of their choosing. Turns out I was wrong. Those that argued against @patmillsuk.bsky.social were saying "why don't you just pay more if you want to". And it seems they can.
And where are the #Brexit lead protagonists now, spending their hard earned cash after years of intentionally misleading & lying to the people of the UK.
They are still just messages on a side of a bus. The £350m a week was a plain lie. The other one, what backs this up. Its an assumption that the wealthy will be willing not to find loopholes, as they do already. Then when the money doesnt come in as projected, the working class get a tax hike.

I accept the "whole point". I was only wondering if knowing this info changes ones perception of what I think is a terrific campaign.
