I have literally thousands of mp3s because I grew up on the internet in the early 2000s and I've decided to do some spring cleaning on them so as I listen to them and go 'hell yeah' I'll post in this thread.

Acute was (is?) a really underrated Japanese hardcore band although I think now that online music dorks are rediscovering the Burning Spirits that came out of Shinjuku and figuring out what fits in that people have started to get on to them.
South Jersey high school legends. A post-hardcore/metalcore thing from 2002 that ended up being a little ahead of its time. I have this on hand burnt CDEP that I bought during gym class. Got a great vinyl reissue on Force of Reckoning that people noticed.
Another band that was underrated for a long time but has gotten recognition due to the wonderful world of online music dorks. Solid NYHC that stood out when everyone was either going Youth Crew or crossover. Fronted by Djinji Brown, the son of jazz legend Marion Brown.
Wasn't super into them but there is a VHS tape of me and my dumb friends skating and doing early 2000s jackass shit to a blown out soundtrack some comp that had this and a bunch of 80s hardcore on it rotting in someone's garage somewhere so I'm nostalgic for it.

Indiana screamo band with strings. Put out two EPs in the early 2000s and then some of them went on to be in Coma Regalia.
