I’m already annoyed. Can hear the whining now.

The next Democratic President (if we survive) is gonna have to spend their entire first term just trying to rebuild the federal government — and voters are gonna hate them for it.

I think the next president needs to be someone who isn’t of either establishment. Someone who understands leadership, hope, building the right teams, accountability, and transparency. The two parties that exist have too much history. Someone new needs to come in without any of that baggage.

One of the failures we had, is equating free speech with media. I know it is dangerous and needs to be dealt with carefully, but media is a megaphone that lets the rich and powerful shout over and control the narrative. I don't know how, but those need to be separated and handled separately.

The way this very thought keeps me up at night. The grief is real. The loss time, money, emotions, and energy spent on moving the needle a millimeter only to have it reversed overnight. And the amount of work we will have to do to move it forward just to be in the same spot …. it’s truly exhausting.
