I wish I could repost this a bunch of times for emphasis. The way society is ignoring long covid - and government is defunding support for long covid - is maddening. And then they ask "why are more ppl on disability benefits"? I WONDER COULD IT BE THE MASS DISABLING PANDEMIC?

For several years they've basically been scraping by on one income.
There's no acknowledgement of the toll this takes on people's mental/physical health.
Funnily enough, when I was moved from DLA to PIP, and at both PIP reviews since, I was somehow found to have magically improved, & my benefits reduced. After time-consuming reviews, I ended up more tired, and back with the help I first needed.
