Exactly. Thunderstorms in TX when I lived there were scary insane. Here in Portland it’s like a flash and then thunder. In FW you’d see the lightning zig zag from the sky. And always felt like one was coming.

I am originally from the Texas side of Louisiana. I know what you are talking about! I lost an Aunt due to a tornado 🌪️ that hit her home. Crazy weather in that area.
