This is definitely not the year to argue that the SEC is SO GOOD that it must take all the CFP spots. Not with so many poor performances against average teams.

Oh please. The first two rounds of the NFL draft will once again prove that the SEC has far more talent and depth. An "average" SEC is still loaded, whereas the #3 Big 10 team looked pedestrian against Ohio State yesterday. Big10 is top heavy and SEC is not.
Luckily for other college football teams we count score and wins, not “guys drafted” to figure out who’s actually a good *TEAM* and should make the playoffs.
They are already doing it. During the Kentucky/Texas broadcast they said the middle of the Big-10 is bad and the middle of the SEC is a bunch of top teams that could beat anyone.
Counter-point: the SEC is more balanced than it’s ever been and a case could be made for at least one 5 loss team to be a dark horse candidate for the 12th spot.
I agree to a point, but I don’t think there is any question that the SEC is the deepest conference this year. I mean, even Vandy is not a pushover this season
Sure, easy to say SEC's not so good after Alabama loses to Vandy and a barely-above-water Oklahoma. Real clout would've come from making this statement in week 1.
I am so here for the reversion to 1993 CFB parity thanks to a back door player transfer power and employment scheme. It makes me hopeful for America, tbh

I'm a big Georgia fan, and it's because of that, I know better than most fans that we can beat anyone and lose to anyone.
Flipping a coin 3-4 times isn't a recipe for winning 3-4 straight games against top competition.
