Yes and no, I think. He was certainly less of a fascist, which is always nice, but his policies ushered in our current age of absurd wealth disparity, overcriminalization, inescapable poverty, and enshrined racism. Also he was a union-hating dickface, so that should be factored in as well.

Not all court opinions are so easily read and understood by those outside of legal professions. I find it encouraging and remarkable that this one approaches what may be simple standard English. It’s a _very_ approachable piece of writing and that is a good thing.

Not a lawyer, but this sure seems to put pressure on SCOTUS. If they overturn this they will confirm all the corruption and pro-authoritarian accusations that "many people are saying".

The motion is for an emergency stay and a writ of mandamus, and given this is a fascist and corrupt court that gave royal powers to a convicted felon, I would put nothing past them.

But they already ruled against him. Then he tried to appeal again and the 4th circuit said no. There’s literally nothing else he can appeal. They already ruled. It’s game over, contempt charges time.
