Main question is what’s better: having the first half of the RS compete with CFB/NFL, and playoffs compete with NBA/NHL playoffs, or have the bulk of the RS compete with NBA/NHL/MLB seasons and Int’l tournaments, w/ playoffs competing with CFB/NFL.

For me MLS calendar switch advocates have always overestimated the impact it will have (cash trades a much more important shift IMO), & I'm skeptical MLS will fund facility improvements like the JLeague did, but the high-intensity running data is always a (maybe the?) compelling counterpoint.
