…I know that guy
(Thank you to @congressmin.bsky.social for speaking out for me as a constituent, but I also want to make clear that I am not the only one this has happened to. The right has used this tactic against MANY people over the past ten years, and it is an attempt to stifle speech)

Political speech is at the heart of our 1st Amendment protections because America has always stood as a place where we honor dissent and debate.
Chris Kluwe was seemingly fired for engaging in his 1st amendment rights. I’m demanding answers on whether his removal was illegal and unconstitutional.

Seems like I remember that.
Today, it was a freshman football coach. Yesterday, it was a math teacher. Tomorrow, it’s you.
I am not trying to diminish in any way. Genuinely appreciate you standing strong and, quite correctly, fighting the critical fight.
Just adding a link in the chain, because it's important.

Fight the good fight. Will do my best to do the same.
I asked to speak to someone about reporting an absence.
I told them that the absence was integrity, democracy and freedom of speech.
It felt pretty damn good.
Keep fighting the good fight.
You’re an inspiration.
Thank you!!!

I remember teachers seeing students waving confederate flags, in 2021 black history month, and afraid what would happen if they confiscated the flags.
