She did, I saw it. And WaPo calls their reporting a “scoop”. Outrageous

OK, I just want to temper everyone's enthusiasm with a story. A few years back a new player emerged onto Twitter. They called themselves the Intelligence Workers Union. They claimed to be a group of intel types who'd been secretly unionizing (since intel staff famously can't do so) for a year.

If anyone tries to tell you that calling people Nazis is what turned those people into Nazis, ask them: would people calling you a child abuser make you want to abuse children?

Can't believe people still don't get this youtu.be/sQ_4m2ocxhI?...

When you fire a bunch of probationary employees that you just dedicated nearly a year to training for no good reason, you don't just lose those employees or the money spent on training, you also risk losing the now demoralized high performers that stand up to take on those training assignments.

Congress has mandated that the Social Security Administration carry out this kind of research. The elected legislature duly enacted a statutory provision mandating it. The president can have priorities where he has discretion, but his discretion ends where funded Congressional mandates begin.

I was at a punk show in 83 where a skinhead jumped up on stage and gave a Nazi salute. The bass player hit him with his bass, knocking him into the crowd and 150 people collectively hauled his ass out of the venue and threw him in the mud. This was the right and only appropriate response.

Everyone featured or mentioned in that screenshot is an absolute dope.

A serious journalistic institution that isn't just some vanity project for rich assholes might look into Elon Musk's very public, very noticeable, very serious drug habit.

Cool, so, what, two days until we’re at war with Italy?
