One of my favorite accidents is that I accidentally stumbled on the first 3 books of Terry Pratchett's Discworld series on vacation one year. There are 42 books in the series, although when I found them, there were probably 15-20.

Sword of truth. Terry goodkind is a reallt good author, there's like 11 books in the series, and the series is complete. One of the beat high fantasy series I've read to date. Definitely rivaled lotr

My favorite finished series is Anne Bishop’s Ephemera trilogy. My favorite unfinished series is Clive Barker’s Abarat. The last book was published in 2011 and he left the series on the worst cliffhanger ever, but I still read it over and over. So good. 😂

That's pretty much my thought. He's worse than TOOL not releasing albums for 2 decades.😂 Hell, Robert Jordan was dying and managed to gather enough notes with the help of his wife, to find another author they trusted to finish his WoT series. I doubt anything like that will happen with GRRM.

The Deverry series by Katharine Kerr! There’s fifteen books in the main series, with a sixteenth continuing in the same world. The first four comprise the first act, the next four are the next act, the following three form the third act, and the final four the fourth act.

Not witchy, but definitely paranormal, the Parasol Protectorate series by Gail Carriger. Vampires and werewolves have been accepted by high society in an alternate Victorian London. Expect ridiculous names, ridiculous hats, a great story, and a lot of tea.

Yup. Kind of like Goodreads, it let's you sort books into ,Want to Read. Currently Reading, Finished, and Did not Finish. They also allow you to do this with TV shows. And they have a Book Club feature that allows you to discuss any current books you're reading with others reading those same books.

I love the Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer, it’s YA, but it’s good fun. It’s basically retelling of Cinderella, Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and Snow White, but it connects all their story lines and it takes place in the future and in space. It’s Sci-Fi.

I really liked the Once Upon a Broken Heart series. It has three books total. There is a prequel series Caraval. I didn't read it beforehand because I didn't find out about it until I was already half way through Once Upon a Broken Heart. The Caraval series also has three books :)
