Anyone else still disappointed from finding out the Childlike Empress' new name/Bastian's Mom's name in The Neverending Story? Of all the mysteries that should have stayed unknown to my ever-curious brain, that's the one I should have left alone. Really? That? It's not even that pretty.

10yr girl had some drama this morning that upset her. 16yr AudHD boy: what's up with her? Me: High school level drama for elementary girls. 16: Good thing that nowadays, there's no drama in high school. Me: Son, I'm sure there's lots of drama in high school, you just don't care. 16: Good point.

Need to scream into the void for a second. 1) I got laid off on Jan 27, completely out of the blue. 2) My husband got injured at work on the 12th and hasn't been cleared to go back to work yet OR had an appointment made for the orthopedist or MRI that have now been ordered 2x.🪡

My phone informs me it's Sleep Awareness Week. The irony of this being the same week as the return of daylight savings time is breathtaking. For the next week, I'll struggle to go to bed at a reasonable time and drag myself out of bed at what feels like TOO EARLY. I loathe the spring forward.
