Since they've decided to kill the planet, not just individuals and/or America, it's more important than ever to focus on what you can handle, and that's protecting, helping, and lifting up the people around you in your community.

One thing I've started doing is looking into the next mayoral election here in NYC, because we need to get Eric Adams (who is chumming up to Trump) out of office to keep New Yorkers safe. Once I find a good candidate, I'm going to look into supporting their campaign to help primary Adams.
There are some good candidates lining up to primary Adams. There are some mediocre candidates lining up to primary Adams. I'm hoping they don't all cancel each other out so that Adams gets another four years. Because it's way too likely.
Do what you can, whenever you can. But thinking local, something you can do to specifically help the people around you that will show palpable results and is manageable... That seems like a good place to start.
This is spot on, amigo. I've been preaching this as well. Do what i can for others in and around my nyc orbit. Help some house less folk on my commute. And get behind a trusted progressive candidate for mayor!
