One of the podcasts I listen to is always going on about the brutalist. If that helps at all 🤷‍♂️ I haven't seen it, but the way they talk about it, it is on my watch list.

(I did have The Brutalist as my second favorite movie of the year. It's just (long) and not a film I'd want to rush through.

With The Brutalist, it isn't even the four hours though. It takes time to digest a movie like that for a time afterward. A Complete Unknown can be watched, enjoyed, and digested simultaneously. It's a different beast of a viewing experience.

Oh gotcha! Yeah, that makes sense. Definitely glad - for example - that after I watched Nickel Boys yesterday I had time to sit with it rather than jumping into something else after.
