PSA for Americans who have changed their name via marriage or for some other reason: you CAN change your name on your birth certificate to match your current legal name. Look up how to do it in the state you were born in.

They likely just need a form filled out, a copy of the document that shows the name change (court order, marriage license), and you usually have to pay a small fee. It is worth making your docs match in case the SAVE act passes.
