Terrifyingly, there also seems to be little acknowledgement of how our lopsided demographic age range needs this immigration. The snuck premise in every immigration discussion we have in the UK seems to be "immigration bad".

I feel like the tories just haven't been honest that we actually needs immigration for our economy.
Brexit was a disaster in this regard. We have replaced our hard working European neighbours with random unvetted people from countries very different to ours.
