We had barn owls last summer! Gorgeous creatures, and five owlets raised. But good lord, around fledging time it regularly sounded like a demonic orgy during the small hours of the night 😂. Not all owls 'twit tuh-woo'

That call is abrasive, but I like some of their other vocalizations. I can't find a recording right now, but there's a cute call I've heard the local ones make. They have a lot of personality, I'll give them that.

Our cats "hunt" every bird from inside our house but these jays... they nope out instantly... they are super aggressive by us and I've never heard any cute calls.. beautiful birds but...

We feed the crows that live on our street and the jays have learned to be fast at Peanut Time. They often hork down all the peanuts before the crows get them.
