In '00 I was working at a company that contracted animation for Sega; dude next to me did the motion for VF4 Vanessa. We didn't know what the character looked like since we just animated the standard Softimage mannequin. We visited the arcade the day VF4 came out and we were like "Oh!! She's cool!"
