Bear in mind, Doom, technically, is a 2D top-down shooter with a perspective trick. Not a 3D game.
There's a couple things in SRB2 which make it 3D, one of which being the Floor Over Floor system, the core innovation that allows floating platforms and bridges.

You're a good robot on a pogo stick that shoots bad robots. Not much going on tbh, very fun and unique movement, and it's made by a few devs for a college project iirc

Been playing Monster Hunter Stories on the Nintendo Switch. I already played the original when it was on the 3DS, but I’m having a good time regardless.
Playing a second file of Super Mario RPG on Switch at the moment! I never thought this would’ve turned out to be my favorite SNES game, cause when I was 6, I wanted this game turned off so I could play Yoshi’s Island 🤣
