Politics still matters. These guys are not political geniuses. They have a razor thin House majority and a lame duck president. Bush was more powerful after his reelection in 2004 and Harry Reid and other strategic Dems brought him down. It can be done now too if they will fight.

Pathetic - just thinking about their donors and nothing else
The federated nature of our gov’t is a built-in defense against autocracy.
That said, many places may end up w/ elections in name only 😬
This could’ve been stopped since 2005 when The Heritage Foundation release the original project 2025.
