Once I came back inside after getting my then SK-aged kid on the bus and walked by our pyr and almost had a heart attack, because kiddo had apparently slapped a dock-spider sized plastic spider on her head before exiting the house and for a split second I thought it was real.
Yeah same! She was pretty chill with all bugs (except for bumblebees, who she was desperate to eat and be stung by. It is a miracle she ever actually caught one and swelled up like a sad water balloon) so it was a very real possibility in my mind haha
Kiddo was constantly putting hats and tiaras on her and she was so resigned to that sort of attention that she just let is stay there instead of shaking it off onto the floor. We have spiders that size here, so it was instant fight or flight when I caught it even peripherally. π
Aww, I'd like to think Pyrenean mountain dogs are very unbothered by humans doing goofy stuff to them they seem very chill besides when they have to protect some smaller creatures.
As a farmer I know likes to say, his dog's job is to be loud and pee on things, so wolves can identify the territory that must belong to an absolutely MASSIVE predator.

I get the feeling that if a FluffCloud REALLY doesn't want to wear a silly hat, the fluffcloud would not be in a silly hat.
also yeah i find enough bugs just hanging out on my dog that i would also assume it was real
