I found this really interesting having witnessed some of the crowd issues this year. I’m not a big EDM guy, but much of this resonates across the whole site.

Agree. The move to Silver Hayes and the other corner at night is immense and it disrupts the site for everyone else. Silver Hayes closed to people walking through to Gate A is a major prob...esp for me as I get the bus in and out from there. Also for those who like EDM how do they get in?

They have tried to alter routes etc...but last year they got it wrong with the scheduling across the board. All Saints at W Holts not Pyramid for eg. Avril Lavigne too. They underestimate the pull of so called not cool acts and EDM's popularity. Meanwhile Sza's crowd is half empty.

Yeah, Sunday epitomised the overcrowding issue. London Grammar to close out the Park Stage was the biggest crowd I’ve ever seen in that area, while the Pyramid field was two-thirds empty. The afternoon scheduling between Pyramid and Other was also entirely baffling 🤷🏼‍♂️

Fri at Park was Fontaines DC...once again - Pyramid headliner crowd. They will headline Other or Pyramid within a couple of years I reckon. 2027 headliners maybe.

Good shout. Similarly, I saw The K’s at Woodies on the Sunday lunchtime and can see them requiring a much bigger stage in the coming years. Looking forward to the rumour mill cranking up!

With great difficulty I’d imagine. As part of the Recycling Crew we saw first-hand how chaotic the ‘naughty corner’ is, and that was at 6am at kicking out time! Add to that the mass movement between main stages following some very odd scheduling, and we had ourselves a tipping point.
