I bought a brand new copy of the book and gave it to the library when I turned the other one in to show my remorse!

On accident: got too drunk and spilled my drink all over it 😭

Second worst….lent it to a friend. I gave it to her in pristine condition. It came back looking like it had been run over three times, dog-eared pages, drink stains.
Needless to say, she’s not allowed to borrow anymore.
And yes, that's why I never allow anyone to borrow my books!
I also do book folding and sculpture. Think of it as giving a loved book a new life.
10 years ago and I still think about it
I had heard of 'freezedried coffee,' so I put the book in the freezer. If there was a way of saving it, that wasn't it.
