And probably the last update for this tax season: the IRS website does finally show that the refund was sent. The bank shows it as a completed transaction, no longer “pending.”
I did our taxes as soon as possible this year because I had a feeling the IRS systems, or anything at the federal gov, might not be totally reliable for much longer.
