I read it regularly.
They also have free English grammar tips and lessons, which as a native speaker I don’t use unless someone is wrong on the internet, but I use the comparable resources on Radio France and Deutsche Welle, which are also great resources for news.

And public radio is commercial free, unlike many commercial podcasts, including most commercial news programs.

Lots of people listen to the radio, myself included.
Perhaps you should broaden your horizons and try it.
You just might become enlightened/informed. 😉

Sometimes generations (even the TikTok one) follow the lead or emulate people they respect and care about.
My 15 year old grandson watches TikTok videos, but he also listens to the radio and enjoys discussing different topics and perspectives.
We should be encouraging our youth to be diverse.

You know you can download the programs, without ads, and listen to them whenever you want in your podcast app, just like anything else, right?
Millennials do this
Some of us with ADHD can’t do video
And per my boomer mom
