I sometimes think that ME is as just as much about dealing with the mindf#@k that the condition and PEM places you in, as the physical symptoms. It feels like you can forget how bad it can get until it happens again. A fresh hell each time.

Hi Daniel,
Would it be ok to include this screenshot in my next article? I’m writing P2 & inc a few bits from people in our community. All images are b&w apart from 1-2 You can read P1 on my feed.
P2 will be more focused on comparisons with the book Wintering by Katherine May&talking more about PEM
Yes. And it's really hard (or bl@@dy impossible) to rest properly, recharge, when you're legitimately scared that you're not going to return to your previous baseline.
A life of utterly unwelcome surprises. I was stood outside a building I was rehearsing in yesterday wondering how to get through the security system. Someone asked what I was after and I couldn’t think of an answer behind “er…”
It happens so often now I've stopped writing posts about it. Whereas I tried to make light of my brain errors to make others laugh & feel less alone, I now feel like I'm sinking in quicksand with them.

It’s a way of celebrating that and also channeling my own frustrations in overly long articles, but hey gotta do something!
