God forbid we do that even once.
@scotusblog.bsky.social counsels surrender. But we need to channel some emo rock and go down swinging.
I suppose technically it's true. He's a good deal more lawless than the ordinary man, and his crimes have been a good deal more dangerous than the crimes ordinary men commit.
But "no man is above the law" is where that paragraph should end. (No woman, either.)
Before you do, imagine yourself at the losing end of that inequality. Are you better off in that world than in this one? Likely not, but I'll hear you out.
